The Renal Function Test (RFT) panel is a group of tests that can be performed to assess kidney (renal) function and health. The kidney profile test measures the levels of several components in the blood, including minerals, electrolytes, proteins, etc., to determine the present condition of the kidneys. The kidney profile test is performed on a blood sample and with several parameters being under consideration, offers a fairly accurate depiction of kidney function.
