The thyroid profile test, also known as the thyroid function test, assesses the increase or decrease in the production of hormones by the gland. This test includes a complete package of T3, T4, TSH test, which are essential hormones that regulate many body functions.
Thyroid tests check how well your thyroid is working. They are also used to diagnose and help find the cause of thyroid diseases such as hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. Thyroid tests include blood tests and imaging tests.
